This memorial epitomizes the sacrifice made by small towns around the U.S. The sculpture above consists of two soldiers and a sailor. Underneath, is a plaque with names of 14 Ripon High School graduates KIA (the graduating class of 1940 was only 50). Near the sculpture is the Ripon Veterans Wall, holding names of Ripon residents that have served in the Armed Forces showing their branch of military and years of service. Also visit the Ripon Veterans Museum, located nearby.
