This is an ongoing ambitious project by area veterans groups and Eagle scouts that now includes a war veterans museum. The park contains several monuments listing the names of those that have been lost in battle, or are currently serving in the war in Iraq and Afghanistan.

On static display is an Army Bell AH-1F Cobra Helicopter.
