This somber tribute is for the men and women involved in the mission to carry atomic bombs to Japanese targets in August, 1945. It gives special recognition to the scientists involved with what was known as the Manhattan Project, the different branches of service, and all the allied forces in the Pacific Theatre who brought World War II to a swift end. There is also recognition given to the residents of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Bonus stop: Visit the Wendover Air Field memorials across the Utah state line. The Enola Gay hangar is also part of the 2011 Tour of Honor.
