The Navajo Code Talkers sculpture is located at the entrance to the Gallup Cultural Center on Rte. 66. The 900 lb, ten-foot statue was moved from the 2nd floor of the center to the outside entrance by the Marine Wing Support Squadron 471 (MWSS 471) from Mt. Clemens, MI. The Marines were in town helping build housing for needy Native Americans, and were asked to assist with the move of this memorial.

Bonus Site: Continental Divide sign at I-40 exit 47, on the access road east of the Indian Village store at Red Rock. Rainfall divides at this point. To the west it drains into the Pacific Ocean, to the east, into the Atlantic. Elevation 7245’.
