A clock tower and collection of markers honoring veterans of Cumberland County (including all conflicts and a special marker for Medal of Honor recipient SFC Randall Shughart), the memorial is nestled alongside Children’s Lake, fed by the nearby boiling artesian springs that give the town its name.
