The Veteran’s Monument at Courier Field is a large park that was dedicated in 2010. As a tribute to all five branches of service, a sculpture entitled “Freedom Rising,” a bronze eagle atop a six-sided black granite pedestal is surrounded by a field of donated bricks.

Also in the area: Dinosaur World features over 100 life-size models of critters in a natural setting.
