The Idaho Peace Officers’ Memorial is located on the grounds of the Idaho State Police Headquarters. The purpose of the memorial is to recognize the sacrifices of those officers who have given their lives in the line of duty for citizens of the state. The memorial provides a place of solace for families of these fallen officers and also honors those who currently serve the citizens of Idaho as peace officers.

Also in the area: Halfway between Meridian and Cascade, on winding Hwy. 55, is the small town of Horseshoe Bend. Known among Iron Butters as the home of the original Chiliburger Run Ride to Eat, the Riverside Restaurant serves a great chiliburger! 101 Riverside Dr., Horseshoe Bend, Idaho.
