Located on the State Capitol grounds, this memorial is dedicated to all the law enforcement heroes who have made the supreme sacrifice of giving their life to protect and serve the citizens of Missouri, to the family members of our law enforcement heroes for the loss of a loved one, and to all members of the Missouri Law Enforcement profession of the past, the present and the future who are dedicated to serving and protecting the great state of Missouri.

The Memorial was dedicated on June 17th, 1994, just three years after the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial was dedicated in Washington, DC.

Also in the area: Take a walk around the Plaza and look out over the Mighty MO, the Missouri River. Note the beautiful statues of the Louisiana Purchase principals.
