Finished in 2009, this memorial is dedicated to all citizens of the Ellensburg-area who made the ultimate sacrifice for America. The Soldiers Cross memorial consists of a pair of boots in front of a rifle onto which a helmet is mounted, the traditional homage to someone killed in action. The sculpture is backed-up by a granite wall containing the seals of the branches of the Armed Forces of the United States.
