Randy has lived in the Denver area for over 25 years and has ridden all over the state to document mountain passes for the local BMW club's Pass Bagger 50 Award (his main passion), and to collect bonus locations for his own Two-Bits Endurance Rally, many of them being veterans memorials.

A USAF veteran, Randy served from 1974-84 and was stationed in Nebraska, Nevada, and Washington, DC.

He became hooked on motorcycles the first time he rode a moped in the Piney Woods of East Texas in 1966. Shortly thereafter his brother and him were given a 1956 Cushman Highlander that they had rebuild before it could be ridden. Next was a Honda Super 90 used for both "motocross" and "sport touring," then a Honda CB750K, two Kawasaki Concours, a KLR650, and now a BMW R1150GS.

Randy is a proud member of AMA, IBA and the BMW Motorcycle Club of Colorado, a club he spends a lot of time with and whose members he considers some of his closest friends.

Randy now makes his home in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
