A Drive To Remember!

The Tour of Honor welcomes cars and drivers in 2025!

For 2025, we’re excited to announce that the Tour of Honor is expanding to welcome participants using other modes of transport! This new opportunity is designed for those who want to honor our veterans and first responders but may not have a motorcycle or prefer alternative ways to travel.

Whether it’s for health reasons, convenience, or simply to join the journey, we’re opening the door for drivers to experience the spirit of the Tour. We’ve carefully crafted this change to keep the Tour’s motorcycle heritage strong while allowing others to take part in this meaningful adventure.

If you’re new to the Tour, here is a brief rundown: In 2011, the Tour of Honor began as a motorcycle-oriented, self-guided, individually ridden tour of designated veteran and first responder memorials. In that first year, seven states with seven memorials per state were selected as part of the Tour, and 74 riders entered. Since then, the TOH has grown to include memorials in all 50 states, with 321 total designated memorials and over 1,000 riders participating yearly. Proceeds from the Tour benefit veteran and first responder organizations.

Later, TOH broadened its scope to include additional American hero memorials and sites, such as Veterans Cemeteries, War Dog/Police K9 Memorials, 9/11 Memorials, Gold Star Family Monuments and WWI Doughboy Memorials.

The TOHCC is completely separate from the motorcycle category. Nothing will change for riders in the motorcycle category regarding trophies or Top 10 finishes. TOHCC drivers adhere to the same rules as the motorcyclist category, such as photo content and submission requirements and scoring, etc. Everything is the same for Drivers and Riders, except that Drivers are not competing for trophies or Top 10 finishes.

Like TOH motorcycle riders, drivers’ memorial visits will be tallied and listed on the TOH’s website throughout the Tour. At the end of the Tour year [Oct 31st], drivers meeting TOH Finisher requirements and the requirements for any “Additional Rides” will receive finisher certificates and pins.

Registration for the TOHCC is the same as the motorcycle/rider registration at https://scoring.tourofhonor.com/signup; however, numbers for drivers will begin with 3000 and up.

IMPORTANT: If you are new to the Tour of Honor, select "Non-motorcycle" in the signup screen and create an account. If you wish to ride a motorcycle and ALSO drive a car, you must have two separate accounts with two different email addresses.

For our motorcycle community: rest assured, this new option won’t change your experience. The Tour remains motorcycle-focused, and the addition of drivers won’t impact the competition or the camaraderie riders have come to cherish.

This is a fantastic chance to share the Tour of Honor with friends, family, and even car clubs that might appreciate the opportunity to honor heroes and explore the country. Let’s spread the word and welcome a broader community to join us on this heartfelt journey!
